Full Time Project Engineer / Project Manager
About Enviro Grind
Enviro Grind is a leading recycling and resource recovery company operating across a range of sectors including gypsum recycling, composting, wood waste processing and material recovery. As the business continues to grow, we are investing heavily in new facilities, plant installations, infrastructure and processing capacity. We are seeking a Project Engineer to help drive these projects from concept through to completion.
The Role
This is a full time, practical, delivery-focused role working directly with the directors, site management team and external contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects across the business, including new buildings, processing facilities, plant installations and operational improvements. The role is focused on execution and delivery. You will help ensure projects stay on programme, costs are controlled, contractors are managed effectively and work is completed to the required standard. This position will suit someone who enjoys being involved in real projects, solving problems and seeing work progress from an idea through to a completed operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of capital projects across the business.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works remain on programme.
- Track project costs, budgets and variations.
- Assist with procurement of materials, services and equipment.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, installation works and commissioning activities.
- Maintain project schedules, action lists and progress reports.
- Identify project risks and help develop practical solutions.
- Ensure clear communication between management, contractors and site teams.
- Support project handovers and completion activities.
- Assist in the development of new facilities, processing lines and operational improvements.
