We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) rollout programmes across the UK as part of the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS). This role is responsible for coordinating multi-site deployments, managing installation schedules, engaging with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Working within an established programme framework, you will play a key role in turning delivery plans into operational success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of assigned RVM rollout projects, ensuring milestones, timelines, and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering site readiness, logistics, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Coordinate installation schedules across multiple customer locations and deployment programmes.
  • Manage internal teams, contractors, and third-party partners to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project delivery, installation planning, and scheduling.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation actions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, delivery records, and reporting in line with programme governance requirements.
  • Track project costs, manage variations, and provide delivery insights to support forecasting and budget control.
  • Ensure successful operational handover of completed installations to Service and Operations teams.
  • Promote compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards throughout all project activities.

Job requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or similar discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-site rollout, deployment, mobilisation, or installation projects.
  • Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMI or equivalent experience).
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, contractors, and third-party suppliers.
  • Customer-facing project delivery experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background within operational, engineering, logistics, field service, or equipment deployment environments.
  • Strong reporting, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
