The Electrician will take responsibility for the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of our EV Charge Points. This position does not have a fixed location and may at times involve supporting EV installation projects across the UK.
You will be a competent electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

As Electricians progress through the levels, they will gain valuable qualifications and skills while also receiving corresponding salary increases to reflect enhanced capabilities. This structured approach ensures that our Electricians are fairly compensated for their growing skills and responsibilities, while providing a clear pathway for career progression.
Job Requirements
- Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification or Approved Apprenticeship
- 1-3 Years of Commercial/Industrial Experience
- C&G BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving License
- JIB/CSCS Gold Card
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with DC chargers ranging from 50kW upwards of 400kW DC
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
- SSSTS
- C&G 2919 (or equivalent) Electric Vehicle Charging
Job Responsibilities
- Install EV charging stations in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
- Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations, and manufacturer installation guides to ensure compliant, high‑quality installations.
- Liaise with the EV Qualified Supervisor and provide updates relating to ongoing installation work.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Work to site‑specific Programmes of Work.
- Complete NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates using the NICEIC online portal on a tablet device.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and any remedial actions.
- Prepare and submit reports on work performed, including issues encountered and resolutions applied.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors, and other electricians to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to remain updated on industry best practice and company standards.
