The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost estimation, cost control, budget management, and ensuring that projects are completed within their projected budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and legal regulations.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and be an asset within a team. Working closely across a number of departments is of paramount importance to the success within this role.
Essential:
- Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Degree or equivalent (RICS).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Proficient in cost estimating software and tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable:
- Civil or structural engineering experience.
- Project management (construction) experience.
- Valid Health & Safety Qualification i.e UKPIA, CSCS etc.
