- Energy Analyst to join our Global Intelligence team based in
Stonehouse, UK .
The energy industry is undergoing a major repositioning, with companies pursuing conventional oil and gas exploration and development alongside increasing investments in renewable energy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an inquisitive mind and a genuine interest in all areas of the energy industry.
Work model
The team works in a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week at the Stonehouse office .
What You Will Do
- Gather, interpret, QC, and enter information relating to the energy industry into our GIS database system, with primary responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data in your assigned region.
- Assist regional experts in sourcing current, planned, and historic activity covering oil and gas licensing, seismic, drilling, field development, production, and renewables.
- Process, standardize, and enter energy data into our GIS database to ensure consistent content population across the Global Intelligence product suite.
- Produce technical outputs to weekly and monthly deadlines, including creation of regional activity maps and contribution to editorial content.
- Support the promotion of Enverus Global products by interfacing with clients and the industry, with opportunities to travel and work internationally.
- What Skills You Should Have
- Max. 2 years of relevant work experience, graduates are welcome
- Degree-level education, preferably in an earth science discipline.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Good IT skills - strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel, and competency in a Windows environment.
- Some experience with GIS software and an understanding of relational databases and data tables.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.
