About the Role
Based at our office in Ashington you will help provide Test & Calibration services (including Standard Traceable and UKAS accredited calibrations) both in a Managed Service, On site (Mobile and in Customers Premises) and Return to base basis to ensure that Customers electrical, temperature, humidity, Radio Frequency (RF)/Microwave and dimensional measuring equipment is providing accurate readings (within acceptable tolerances). The Company also offers a Comprehensive Repair Service and represents Instrumentation Manufacturers as a Reseller of their products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To Calibrate a wide range of test and measurement instruments. These may include, Key sight (Agilent), Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, Aeroflex, Tektronix, Bird electronics, Fluke, Seaward, Megger.
- Maintain a working and in-depth knowledge of products, calibration techniques and procedures.
- Perform on site/mobile calibrations services at customer facilities and within mobile Calibration Lab, this includes travel to/from customer site, early/late starts and driving company vehicle to/from customers site, (Vehicle returned to site each day), overnight stay may be required as/when necessary, most site visits are south UK based.
- Maintain and produce calibration documentation to ISO 9001 & UKAS standard.
- Effective communications within team, maintain necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Always present a professional appearance, behaviour and high standard of customer care.
- Maintain, meet, and exceed calibration service targets as set by the lab manager.
- Work closely with customer in establishing future calibration needs/requirement and test equipment management services.
