Facilities Manager UK

Travel: Travel to customer sites and other ENVEA UK offices will be required.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to take strategic and operational responsibility for facilities across ENVEA UK.

You will ensure our sites, buildings, services and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently and in line with legal, environmental and company standards.

This is a hands‑on, varied role involving facilities management, contractor and supplier oversight, health & safety, environmental compliance, fleet management and business improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the UK facilities management strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage building maintenance, security, access control, planned and reactive maintenance across UK sites.
  • Oversee contractors, subcontractors, landlords and third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cleaning, waste, recycling, WEEE and hazardous waste arrangements in accordance with legislation.
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, certificates, inspections and compliance documentation.
  • Manage the company vehicle fleet, including pool cars and vans, ensuring safety, maintenance, compliance and cost effectiveness.
  • Support building projects, office reorganisations and business continuity/disaster recovery planning.
  • Work closely with the QHSE team to support Health & Safety, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives, including CSR, ESG and carbon reduction projects.
  • Monitor facilities performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide practical support to employees with facilities and IT‑related requirements.
  • Manage projects and one‑off initiatives as required by the business.

About You

You will have significant experience in facilities management, ideally within a manufacturing environment, together with strong experience of contractor management, project coordination and prioritising multiple demands.

Essential

  • Significant facilities management experience.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and service contracts.
  • Strong project management, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the organisation.
  • A practical, proactive and solutions‑focused approach.

Desirable

  • MIWFM qualification.
