Based at our office in Ashington you will help provide test & calibration services (including standard traceable and UKAS accredited calibrations) both in a managed service, on site (mobile and in customers premises) and return to base basis to ensure that customers’ electrical, temperature, humidity, radio frequency (RF)/microwave and dimensional measuring equipment provides accurate readings within acceptable tolerances. The company also offers a comprehensive repair service and represents instrumentation manufacturers as a reseller of their products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate a wide range of test and measurement instruments, including: DMS (Key sight/Agilent), Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, Aeroflex, Tektronix, Bird Electronics, Fluke, Seaward, Megger.
  • Maintain a working and in-depth knowledge of products, calibration techniques and procedures.
  • Perform on-site/mobile calibration services at customer facilities and within a mobile calibration lab, including travel to/from customer sites, early/late starts, driving company vehicle, and overnight stays when necessary; most site visits are south UK based.
  • Maintain and produce calibration documentation to ISO9001 & UKAS standard.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and maintain necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Always present a professional appearance, behaviour and high standard of customer care.
  • Maintain, meet, and exceed calibration service targets as set by the lab manager.
  • Work closely with customers to establish future calibration needs/requirements and test equipment management services.
