ENVEA UK Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced mechanical and electronics engineers, supporting the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and factory efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in resolving production issues, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, and implementing engineering changes to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Support
- Provide daily technical support to the manufacturing team across both mechanical and electronic disciplines.
- Act as the first point of contact for production-related technical issues.
- Gather feedback from production teams and proactively identify opportunities to improve throughput, efficiency, and product quality.
- Set up, maintain, and service production equipment and manufacturing jigs.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process documentation.
- Support the Supply Chain team in working with suppliers to improve product specifications and quality.
- Implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and manage concessions where required.
- Ensure manufacturing equipment maintenance, servicing, and calibration schedules are completed on time.
- Produce engineering reports and technical documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment.
- Assist with training manufacturing and test teams during NPI projects.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Practical experience using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of:
- Bills of Materials (BoMs)
- CAD/SolidWorks
- Concessions
- Engineering Design Changes

- Experience using Sage X3 ERP.
