Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 6am - 3pm Mon-Friday and 7am-12pm on alternate Saturdays
Envar is a producer and supplier of high quality soil improver, woodland garden mulch, wood chip and biomass. We operate green waste composting sites across England with sites in Surrey, Northamptonshire, West London, Essex, Kent and Suffolk as well as our flagship site in Cambridgeshire where we also process food waste. In addition to composting, Envar also recycles coffee grounds.
Envar are looking for a Weighbridge Operator to ensure the smooth operation of the Weighbridge facility and act as a point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all legal obligations and regulations are met.
- Accurately recording weights & waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collecting driver signatures.
- Reporting any anomalies/errors to the weighbridge system to the appropriate people immediately.
- Ensuring that the waste yardage report is correct, and changes are accurate.
- Maintaining relationships and dealing with queries from customers and site visitors, face to face and electronically (by phone or email).
- Assisting with general administrative duties and customer service, answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate.
- Reporting health & safety issues immediately to management.
Requirements:
- Intermediate level MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Previous experience working in a Weighbridge office environment.
- Previous experience working in the Waste Industry.
