As our National Service Partner Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimising a high-performing network of supply chain partners across the UK. This is a highly visible and influential role reporting to the Head of Supply Chain. You have the opportunity to shape supplier strategy, drive commercial performance and support Enva's ambitious growth and sustainability objectives.

Location & Travel

This is a national role requiring regular travel throughout the UK to supplier locations, treatment facilities, transfer stations and customer sites.

The successful candidate will spend time developing supplier relationships, conducting audits and performance reviews, identifying new network opportunities and working closely with operational and commercial teams across the business.

A flexible approach to travel is essential, with occasional overnight stays required.


Key Responsibilities


Deliver a High-Performing Supply Chain Network

Deliver Enva's service partner strategy and develop a resilient, scalable and high-performing network that supports business growth and service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing Enva's national service partner strategy.
  • Identifying, assessing and onboarding collection, logistics, recycling, treatment and disposal partners.
  • Building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with suppliers across the UK.
  • Regularly assessing supplier capability, capacity, performance and future growth potential.
  • Ensuring the network remains diverse, resilient and capable of supporting national customer requirements.
Drive Compliance and Governance

Ensure every service partner operates safely, responsibly and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

This includes:
  • Leading supplier due diligence and compliance assessments.
  • Managing supplier audits, site inspections and performance reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with Duty of Care requirements, environmental permitting regulations and waste carrier legislation.
  • Maintaining robust governance processes that protect Enva and its customers from operational, regulatory and reputational risk.
Deliver Commercial Value

Work closely with commercial and operational teams to maximise value throughout the supply chain while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include:
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and pricing structures.
  • Managing supplier contracts, service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Monitoring market conditions, pricing trends and supply chain opportunities.
  • Delivering cost optimisation, efficiency and margin improvement initiatives.
Champion Performance and Continuous Improvement

Use data, insight and effective supplier engagement to continuously improve supply chain performance.

Key activities include:
  • Developing supplier performance frameworks and scorecards.
  • Monitoring service, environmental and health & safety performance.
  • Leading supplier review meetings and improvement plans.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, resilience and customer outcomes.

Support Sustainability and ESG Objectives

Sustainability is central to Enva's strategy, and you will play a key role in supporting our environmental ambitions.

This includes:
  • Working with suppliers to support Enva's ESG commitments.
  • Promoting waste hierarchy principles and circular economy outcomes.
  • Reviewing and validating environmental performance data, recycling rates and carbon reporting.
  • Supporting customer reporting requirements, including Scope 3 emissions and social value initiatives.
Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships

Success in this role depends on effective collaboration across the business and supply chain.

You will work closely with:
  • Commercial and Key Account Management teams
  • Operations teams
  • SHEQ and Compliance teams
  • Strategic customers and service partners
You will also support customer solution design, supplier selection and service issue resolution where required


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Experience

You'll bring:
  • Experience within waste management, recycling, environmental services, logistics or a comparable supply chain environment.
  • A proven track record of managing supplier, subcontractor or partner networks.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits, reviews and performance management activities.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders within a geographically diverse operation.
  • An established network within the waste, recycling or environmental services sector would be advantageous.
Knowledge & Expertise

You will ideally have a strong understanding of:
  • UK waste legislation and Duty of Care requirements.
  • Waste treatment, recovery and disposal routes.
  • Environmental permitting and compliance frameworks.
  • Waste pricing structures and supply chain economics.
  • Market dynamics and commercial drivers within the waste and recycling sector.
