At Enva, we are committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our team at our Toomebridge site. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, plant, and equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Health and Safety
- Promote and uphold a "Safety First" culture across the site through effective communication and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as company policies and regulations.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with key stakeholders as necessary.
- Report any concerns, near misses, or incidents immediately to your Line Manager and take prompt action when required.
- Work alongside the HSE Officer to implement safety initiatives and carry out HSE checks and inspections.
- Maintenance Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, plant, and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
- Carry out the installation of machinery, plant, and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prepare and implement a planned maintenance schedule.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requirements efficiently to minimise downtime and costs.
- Immediately report issues or defects with machinery and take appropriate action.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects and actively contribute to team meetings.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, report on KPIs, and analyse variances to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with operator training for machinery and equipment when required.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure optimal site performance.
- Support new equipment installations and maintenance at other Enva or customer sites, if necessary.
- Operate equipment/tools with proper PPE and ensure compliance with recognized engineering methods.
- Fit and assemble components using the appropriate tools while verifying conformance to specifications.
- Other Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Represent Enva in a positive manner, fostering good customer and public relations.
- Report to work on time and complete tasks to company and customer satisfaction.
- Follow company systems, procedures, and management directives diligently.
- Conduct duties constructively, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
- Report any personal circumstances affecting your ability to perform duties legally.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Trade certification or relevant qualification in mechanical maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week Day shift (cover for nights) Shift Allowance
