Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 Driver to join the Linwood depot on a permanent basis. 4 on 4 off, from 6am to 6pm with eligibility for overtime. In this role, you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards.
- Collect all waste from allocated customers.
- Comply with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations.
- Hold a duty of care to self & others.
- Ensure vehicle security including equipment & plant.
- Maintain mandatory driver/vehicle records.
- Provide customers with the highest level of service.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Hold full Class 2 driving licence.
- Hold valid DCPC.
- Hold valid Digital Tachograph.
- Display a professional and organised approach.
- Handle good time management.
- Display initiative.
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles.
- Have a willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.
