This is a pivotal role focused on managing and growing relationships with Enva’s key clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service, contract performance, and sustainable business growth. Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a national contract – managing total waste, recycling, recovery, and ad-hoc service requirements. You’ll work closely with operational teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and innovation across all aspects of waste management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven relationship manager who is passionate about customer success, sustainability, and delivering long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, acting as the main point of contact for client needs and strategic direction.
- Lead and support a team of Regional Account Managers to deliver excellent communication, service, and continuous improvement.
- Regularly meet with clients to review performance, discuss objectives, and drive partnership-based improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, HSEQ, finance, and IT) to ensure service delivery meets contractual commitments.
- Identify opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell Enva services, driving growth through total waste management and resource recovery solutions.
- Advise clients on best practices aligned with waste hierarchy and circular economy principles.
- Prepare and maintain client reports, performance data, and trading agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and company policy.
- Support credit control and finance teams by resolving account queries and managing aged debt.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Support the development and execution of an annual business plan for each key account, including clear revenue and performance objectives.

Essential:
- Proven experience in account management or client relationship management, ideally in waste management, logistics, or a related sector.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing ability.
- Ability to analyse data, produce reports, and identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborative and organised, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

- Experience managing national or multi-site contracts.
- Knowledge of waste management legislation and environmental compliance.
- Leadership experience managing a small team.
