Description: As an Appliance Cleaner at ENVA, based in Grantham, you will play a key role in the refurbishment of electrical appliances. You will be responsible for cleaning a wide range of domestic appliances for reuse and sale, adhering to safety and environmental regulations. This position contributes to ENVA\’s sustainability efforts by promoting efficient waste management and recycling practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning a wide range of domestic appliances including washing machines, fridges and cookers.
• Stripping down and cleaning various parts of the appliance.
• Maintaining a high standard of detail in cleaning.
• Following instructions from the manager and working as part of a team.
• Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those related to appliance handling.
• Working closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous experience in a cleaning or waste management environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to recycling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Details:

• Full‑time role based in Grantham.
• 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
• Work environment predominantly in a warehouse or processing facility.
• Regular exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.

PPE will be provided and must be worn.
