As a Fork Lift Driver at ENVA, based in Grantham, you will play a key role in the recycling and processing of Small Domestic Appliances and fridges. You will be responsible for operating a fork lift truck to move, lift, load and unload materials including electronic waste and refrigeration units for further recycling or disposal, adhering to safety and environmental regulations. This position contributes to ENVA's sustainability efforts by promoting efficient waste management and recycling practices. In this role you will be required to work on a 4 on 4 off basis; shift timings are 6am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counter balance fork lift to lift and transport materials to designated areas.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials such as televisions, computers, mobile phones, fridges, and other electronic devices to ensure they are directed to the correct recycling streams.
- Monitoring and controlling continuous flow of materials in the factory.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those relating to fork lift including conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the fork lift. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets, supporting overall operational efficiency.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling.

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A Fork Lift Licence is required.
