Description


Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 Driver to join the Glenrothes depot in a permanent basis. Monday - Friday, 6am to 4pm with eligibility for overtime.


In this role, you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.


Key Responsibilities



  • Complete daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards

  • Collect all waste from allocated customers

  • Comply with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations

  • Hold a duty of care to self & others

  • Ensure vehicle security including equipment & plant

  • Maintain of mandatory driver/vehicle records

  • Provide customers with the highest level of service


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



  • Hold full Class 2 driving licence

  • Hold valid DCPC

  • Hold valid Digital Tachograph

  • Display professional and organised approach

  • Handle good time management

  • Display initiative

  • Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles

  • Have a willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
