What You Need (Requirements)
- Clean Record: Valid Driver’s license. 3 points or less is highly preferred, but up to a maximum of 6 points may be considered depending on the nature of the offenses (e.g. mobile phone offenses will not be accepted).
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of EU & WTD Tachograph Regulations and Operator Licence obligations.
- Road Savvy: Good geographical knowledge of mainland UK and a strong grasp of the Highway Code.

- Flexibility: Willingness to undertake 1 to 3 overnights (tramping) per week depending on changing operational needs (more nights are available if you want them)!
Your Role (Key Duties)
- Safe Transport: Securely collect and deliver waste materials (including hazardous streams like batteries, oil, filters, and plastics) to and from customer premises.
- Vehicle Care: Complete daily pre- and post-use vehicle safety checks, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any faults promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to traffic legislation, Tachograph requirements, and ADR regulations at all times.
- Customer Face: Act as the key on-site representative for Enva, helping customers store waste correctly and relaying any new requirements back to line managers.
- Safety First: Report any near misses or hazards immediately and strictly follow both Enva and customer site health and safety rules.
Skills & Qualifications
- Hours & Shifts: 45 hours per week guaranteed, with plenty of opportunity for additional overtime. Typical shift start windows are between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive customer relationships.
- Organization: Highly organised with excellent time management, a great eye for detail, and strong organisational skills.
- Problem Solving: Solution-focused approach to handling on-site complaints or conflicts smoothly.
- Desirable: Experience working within the waste or recycling industry.
- Desirable (Training Funded): ADR certification is highly desirable. However, if you do not currently hold an ADR, full training and funding can be provided for the right candidate.
