Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking an experienced HGV Driver - Class 1 to safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner. This is a 4-on-4-off full-time, permanent role based in Linwood.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
- Compliance with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations
- Duty of care to self & others
- Vehicle security including equipment & plant
- Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
- Provide customers with the highest level of service
- Excellent awareness & understanding of Health & Safety
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Full Class 1 driving licence
- Valid DCPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph
- Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
- Willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Excellent communication skills
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant drivers experience
