Enva is a leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, helping businesses and communities across the UK manage their waste responsibly. We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales team, based from our Colwick site with regular national travel. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving profitable revenue growth, and ensuring excellent retention across a major national contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key national accounts, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customer stakeholders, buyers, and operational contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through up-selling, cross-selling, and expanding Enva services.
  • Manage contract performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations.
  • Hold regular customer review meetings, providing reports, updates, and improvement plans.
  • Negotiate trading agreements, pricing reviews, and commercial terms to protect profitability.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, HSEQ, IT, and Sales Support teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Support customers with Duty of Care audits, waste management plans, and compliance needs.
  • Resolve customer issues and escalations quickly and professionally.
  • Assist with aged debt management and invoice query resolution.
  • Create and maintain annual business plans for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure accurate customer data and reporting is maintained across internal systems.
  • Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Essential

  • Proven experience managing key or national customer accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving ability.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, results-focused, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.

Desirable

  • Experience within waste management, construction, plant hire, or a related sector.
  • Knowledge of waste regulations and environmental compliance.
  • Understanding of HSE requirements.
  • Product and industry knowledge.
