At Enva we offer a unique opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team with a growing portfolio of projects in an expansive range of industries. The Water and Industrial Services division of Enva provides high-end environmental/engineering solutions involving directly employed engineers, technicians and operators, large amounts of bespoke and complex equipment similar to the construction industry, and technical solutions to waste management and water and waste treatment.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a technical engineering background to join the team at mid-management level and take on ownership and responsibility for projects ranging from €25K to €2m in value.

To manage individual or multiple projects in terms of:

  • Operational deliverables
  • Program Profitability
  • H&S Compliance and quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role requires initiative, drive and dedication to ensure that the business unit grows and develops.
  • The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development.
  • This role may suit an engineer looking to work within the environmental, water or wastewater sector.
  • Responsibility for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, technical, quality, programme and commercial.
  • Assist in driving forward the development of new service offerings within Enva.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets and programmes.
  • Negotiate rates and contract terms with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Health and Safety & Environmental compliance responsibilities.
  • Lead compliance and quality standards on site.
  • Project Management of Treatment Equipment on customer sites.
  • Develop bespoke solutions for complex treatment and processing issues.
  • Procurement of materials.
  • Management and co-ordination of project team and all works on site.
  • Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Commercial control of day-to-day operations for projects.
  • Management of direct crews & sub-contractors.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Primary degree in Engineering or qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience is considered beneficial in a Mechanical or water engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of Micropollutant treatment technologies and methods (e.g. PFAS).
  • Ability to balance priorities to ensure project targets are met without sacrificing overall goals.
  • Be able to work within a team and expected to be competent to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a project team to effectively manage a project through its lifecycle.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing projects.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability to solve related issues and provide effective solutions that support overall project objectives.
  • To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role.
  • To foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company.
  • To report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction.
  • To work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your Supervisor or other management as appropriate.
  • To lead multiple projects in a client-facing role, managing key stakeholder relationships, operatives, contractors and quality standards.
  • To conduct all duties in a constructive, efficient and productive manner at all times.
  • To act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company.
  • To report any personal circumstances that would affect your ability to legally perform your duties.
