Job Description
The Support Worker must have a minimum of 2 years+ UK Support Worker experience within a Children\'s Social Work team.
The responsibilities will include:
- Provide a structured quality service to support case holding social workers working with children, young people, and parents by developing good working partnerships with them, their families, foster carers, and other stakeholders.
- Work can include court-ordered supervised contacts between children and parents and one-to-one work regarding identified needs within Care and Support Plans and Child Protection Plans. PASS also undertakes structured Family Group Meetings with families within PLO processes.
- Manage referrals from Local Authority child case holding Social Workers.
- Undertake 6 to 8 week planned provision with guidance from the social worker.
- Commence work after an initial visit with case holding social worker, PASS worker, and family.
- Planned weekend work when appropriate to service user need.
- Support all Children’s Social Care teams in a timely and structured way through a referral process, with an emphasis on early referrals to prevent serious family crises.
Work Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
Contract Duration: 3 month Temporary Contract
Start Date: Subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
