Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Liverpool City Council, Childrens MASH Team – Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children\’s Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Working at the \’front door\’ MASH team screening contacts and referrals, making management oversight decisions and determining the appropriate support pathway for children and families.
2. Care Management
3. Manage a case load
4. Home Visits
5. Court Work
6. Liaise with other professionals
7. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
8. 3 month Temporary Contract
9. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
