Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Lancashire Council, Childrens Safeguarding Team – Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children\’s Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Assessments
2. Child Protection work
3. Care Management
4. Manage a case load
5. Home Visits
6. Court Work
7. Liaise with other professionals

• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful Qualified Social Worker candidate will need to hold a Degree or equivalent, must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
