Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Cheshire East Council, Adults Community Team – Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Generic community team
2. Be able to undertake capacity, best interest meetings, safeguarding, duty role
3. Benefit would be to understand the Liquid Logic system
4. The Team are based in Macclesfield Town Hall, but cover the Cheshire East Footprint
5. Liaise with other professionals
6. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
7. 2 Month Temporary Contract
8. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
