Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Adults Referral & Assessment Team – Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Care Management
2. Review Care Packages
3. Adult Placement
4. Report writing
5. Home Visits
6. Liaise with other professionals
7. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
8. 2 Month Temporary Contract
9. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
