An innovative, clinician-led medical technology company is expanding its UK commercial team and is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to drive adoption of its vascular access safety portfolio across NHS and private healthcare settings.
The organisation develops simple, Class I safety devices used in IV therapy, infusion, and haemodialysis, designed to reduce infection risk, improve patient outcomes, and make vascular access procedures safer for both patients and clinicians.
This role is ideal for a driven medical device sales professional who thrives in NHS environments, enjoys hands-on clinical engagement, and can build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders.
The Role
- Own and develop a high-potential territory of approximately 6β10 NHS Trusts and selected private providers.
- Increase adoption and regular usage of vascular access safety devices across infusion therapy and dialysis settings.
- Prospect, open and grow new NHS and private accounts.
- Deliver engaging clinical demonstrations and product training for nurses, dialysis teams, theatres, ICU and vascular access specialists.
- Support sites through evaluations and guide them towards procurement.
- Build long-term relationships with clinical champions (vascular access, infection control, renal teams) and procurement stakeholders.
- Track activity, insights and opportunities through CRM (HubSpot).
- Represent the organisation at relevant conferences, study days, and clinical forums.
This is a hands-on sales role requiring confidence in clinical environments, excellent account management skills and a highly proactive approach to territory development.
Candidate Profile
- Proven medical device sales experience β ideally consumables or Class I technologies.
- Background in haemodialysis, infusion therapy, acute care, theatres, ICU or vascular access (advantageous).
- Strong track record in opening, developing and converting NHS accounts.
- Confident, credible style when training clinical staff.
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders and drive commercial momentum independently.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role.
