This is an opportunity to join a growing chemical and medical device manufacturing business as a Senior Quality Engineer. You will sit under the Head of Engineering, to lead on manufacturing quality projects across their West Lothian site. After an incredible 12 months working towards US product approval and with an incoming 2025 site expansion, there are plenty of exciting projects planned.
As part of this role, you will work closely on the manufacturing line used to produce a chemical formulation / medical device - a background in biomedical engineering / chemical engineering (or similar) is beneficial for this reason! In addition, you will drive company wide quality improvements, conduct root cause analysis of complex problems, and other QA related practices.
They operate on-site clean rooms and are highly regulated. Therefore this role comes with a high degree of responsibility in ensuring the smooth running of operations in a safe and compliant manner. You'll be working with an existing QA team who are specialists in their area.
Requirements:
- A degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- 6 + years in a quality engineering role is ideal
- A degree of independence and project management experience
