Entrust Resource Solutions is supporting a specialist GMP laboratory in the search for an experienced QC leader to oversee Quality Control. This senior laboratory leadership role is responsible for ensuring all analytical, operational and compliance activities are performed in line with GMP, ISO and UK Home Office controlled-substance regulations. The successful candidate will lead the QC team, maintain audit readiness and drive continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead GMP QC operations across medicinal cannabis and lipid-based products
- Oversee analytical testing, investigations, deviations and CAPAs
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and controlled-substance regulations
- Support method validation, stability studies and analytical troubleshooting
- Lead and develop QC laboratory staff
- Act as QC representative during audits and inspections
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive GMP QC laboratory experience
- Previous QC leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO and controlled-substance regulations
- Experience supporting audits, CAPAs and inspections
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS and related instrumentation
- Experience in method validation and stability studies
