We're currently recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their engineering team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of key capital and process improvement projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
This role will suit an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to validation, working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to deliver improvements that make a real impact.

- Domestic Water Removal Project
- Cleanroom Extension
- Modernised Formulation Process
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, installation and commissioning of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Drive process optimisation to improve efficiency, yield and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex process and manufacturing issues, identifying and implementing robust solutions.
- Support process scale-up activities, equipment modifications and process validation.
- Carry out debottlenecking and continuous improvement projects.
- Produce, review and approve SOPs, engineering documentation and validation records.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Around 8+ years' experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience delivering engineering or capital projects from concept through to commissioning and validation.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
- Experience working with process equipment, CIP/SIP systems, WFI, aseptic processing or cleanroom environments would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
