Principal R&D Analytical Chemist

Our Yorkshire based pharmaceutical client develop and manufacture a range of products, they are actively looking for a Principal Analytical Development Chemist . This is a busy role where the successful candidate will be both designing / developing / validating analytical methods and leading a team of dedicated R&D Analytical Chemists
Duties for this role will include :
- Understanding new pharmaceutical formulations and developing novel methods using analytical techniques including HPLC
- Developing appropriate stability tests for regulatory purposes using HPLC and other instrumentation
- Maintenance / trouble shooting of instrumentation
- Validating a range of analytical methods and reports
- Ensuring all activities and performed to quality and H&S standards including GMP
- Advising other R&D Analytical Chemists and supporting the transfer of robust analytical methods for others to use
- Supporting R&D Formulation team with ongoing projects
Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc / MSc in Chemistry (or related subject) together with previous suitable experience gained an analytical R&D environment and appropriate management experience
