We are seeking an experienced NPD / Project Manager to lead the development and launch of new and existing products from concept through to commercialisation. This role combines product development, project management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination to deliver safe, compliant, and commercially successful products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage NPD and EPD projects through the full stage-gate process.
  • Lead formulation development, product improvement, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Technical, Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Packaging, and Quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including CLP, REACH, BPR, COSHH, and Detergent Regulations.
  • Support manufacturing trials, scale-up, and product launch activities.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, and technical documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and supply continuity initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the product development team.

Key Requirements

  • Experience within FMCG, household, chemical, detergent, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Strong background in product development and project management.
  • Knowledge of CLP, REACH, COSHH, BPR, and related regulations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with manufacturing trials, scale-up, and commercialisation preferred.
