Our SE based client develops and manufactures a range of Healthcare products, and they are currently recruiting for a shift-based Production Manager.
- Ensuring production timelines run smoothly and efficiently.
- Acting as site manufacturing lead when working day or night shifts.
- Utilising software tools to keep up to date with deadlines and drive efficiencies across the team and delivery.
- Responsibility for both shift team members during shift hours and out-of-hours staff.
- Ensuring training records are maintained/updated for staff, escalating training needs as and when required.
- Implementing Lean manufacturing strategies to support project improvements.
- Liaising with onsite shift-based engineering teams.
- Ensuring standards are maintained within the team, including timekeeping, quality, and behaviour.
- Understanding key/critical changes to workflow and ensuring fluent communication within a busy, high throughput manufacturing environment.
- Working on both dedicated day and night shifts including weekend work.
This role could suit someone who has previous experience of working in a busy GMP/Healthcare manufacturing environment with experience of leading medium-large shift operations/manufacturing teams.
