Our Scotland based client is a busy Healthcare manufacturing organization. They are currently looking to recruit a Head of Technical Transfer / Manufacturing Science to lead on a variety of Technical Transfer / scale-up projects. This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will have responsibility for all matters concerning Tech transfer and manufacturing transitions.

Duties for this role will include:

  • Team performance management with both direct and indirect team leadership
  • Leading on NPI and process improvement projects, aligning all relevant teams and systems to support successful project completion (including technical transfer and validation)
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise to matrix teams
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and acting as a focal point for all technical matters

This role would suit someone who has developed their career in pharmaceutical formulation science, progressing to lead technical transfer projects/teams within a busy Healthcare environment.
