The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

ERS are supporting their client in their search for an Engineer/Welder. This is a permanent role with an established family-run business based in Ellesmere Port.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained correctly and are kept in good working order.
  • Maximising output for all site processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring all site systems (blending, processing, loading, unloading, transferring, etc.) are kept in good working order.
  • Risk Assessments and PTW.
  • Inspections / Fault finding.
  • Carrying out site checks & servicing.
  • Defect management.
  • Welding and fabrication and installation of BSP and schedule pipework.
  • Experience of welding and fabrication.
  • Product and process R&D.
  • Production (starting up & closing down production systems, monitoring).
  • Assisting site Operators with their daily tasks, as required (loading tankers, processing paperwork, fuel production, site cleanliness, etc.).
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for site Operators as required.

Requirements:

  • Time served Engineer with relevant qualification (ideally Process or Mechanical).
  • Welding qualifications / experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Fork-lift truck training advantageous.
  • IOSH, NEEBOSH (or equivalent) qualifications advantageous.

Hours:

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, alternating weeks of 6am-2pm, 1pm-9pm.
