The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
ERS are supporting their client in their search for an Engineer/Welder. This is a permanent role with an established family-run business based in Ellesmere Port.
Main Duties:
- Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained correctly and are kept in good working order.
- Maximising output for all site processes.
- Responsible for ensuring all site systems (blending, processing, loading, unloading, transferring, etc.) are kept in good working order.
- Risk Assessments and PTW.
- Inspections / Fault finding.
- Carrying out site checks & servicing.
- Defect management.
- Welding and fabrication and installation of BSP and schedule pipework.
- Experience of welding and fabrication.
- Product and process R&D.
- Production (starting up & closing down production systems, monitoring).
- Assisting site Operators with their daily tasks, as required (loading tankers, processing paperwork, fuel production, site cleanliness, etc.).
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for site Operators as required.
Requirements:
- Time served Engineer with relevant qualification (ideally Process or Mechanical).
- Welding qualifications / experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Fork-lift truck training advantageous.
- IOSH, NEEBOSH (or equivalent) qualifications advantageous.
Hours:
8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, alternating weeks of 6am-2pm, 1pm-9pm.
