Our West Midlands based client is currently recruiting for a Waste Coordinator to ensure safe and compliant operations in a busy chemical environment. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and familiar with analytical/testing methodologies used to accurately label chemical waste.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Laboratory Analysts to confirm waste composition
- Managing a busy waste storage environment, ensuring accurate log book information is documented
- Ensuring safe sampling of waste products and coordination of subsequent laboratory testing
- Creating Safety Data Sheets
- Actively participating in waste compliance investigations
Qualifications:
Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc in Chemistry (or similar) together with previous experience of working in a waste analysis environment.
