Cheshire based client is actively looking for a Laboratory Chemist to work in their busy analytical / wet chemistry laboratories.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining instrumentation, calibration, troubleshooting, laboratory upkeep and making sure all reagents and solutions are in date and standardised.
- Reporting of results, liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance to UKAS 17025 standards.
- Performing routine QC analyses.
- Modifying methods as and when required.
Qualifications:
- Ideally educated to HNC / Degree level or equivalent in a Chemistry related subject.
- Ideally previous experience of working in a busy UKAS accredited laboratory.
