Reporting to the Senior Product Director of Identity Verification, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the strategy for our Document Verification product. Document Verification is a core part of our product offering and a significant revenue‑generating Line of Business within the company. We need to ensure we are developing this product in the right direction given a quickly evolving market and regulatory landscape. The key focus of this role is to help us make the right strategic choices in a crowded and evolving marketplace. It is a highly automated product, leveraging deep AI/Ml practices. This role is perfect for someone who is good at understanding first principles re product platform trade‑offs, getting under the hood of complex products and numerically managing the funnel economics of such a product. It may best suit someone with a background in B2B Saas and Platform tech. It requires a super analytical mind, which can link the details to the first principles. I.e. you love problem‑solving! It will also require managing a group of high performing Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy for the future of this product, given a thorough understanding of the market needs, regulatory requirements and funnel economics/value drivers of the product.
- Define how we should modularise and monetise this platform going forward.
- Work with our AI R&D team to define what the next frontier looks like and how we remain on the front foot in this market.
- Work closely with Sales and Customers teams to understand key product requirements based on customer feedback, market needs, and business objectives across the Document platform. Get buy‑in from these teams on our future‑looking roadmap.
- Understand the key metrics at the core of this business and make key decisions based on the data. Work closely with the Analytics team re single‑source of truth for this data.
- Collaborate closely on the above with Engineering, Customer Success and Sales teams.
- Work closely with our Compliance teams to understand regulatory needs in this market and support programmes of work to remain compliant in these markets.
- Mentor and guide product managers and team members.
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, a part of that being in a platform product and/or in B2B Saas.
- Super strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven track record of managing the lifecycle of a complex product.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Identity Verification, Fraud or Financial Services.
- Experience monetizing platform offerings.
- Experience in regulated markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our London office.
