Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve our existing infrastructure.
  • Help build the next generation of our platform.
  • Streamline and automate our deployment processes.
  • Work closely with our Security team to stay on top of potential threats/patches.
  • Provide tools and guidance to our engineers and product teams to improve overall scalability, stability and reliability.
  • Share knowledge and experience to support the growth of our engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Production experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Good working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Docker and Git.
  • Familiarity with supporting production applications in the cloud.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, frameworks and processes.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Good grasp of networking and security concepts/methodologies.
  • Linux systems administration experience.

Nice to Have

  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash).
  • Working knowledge of GitLab CI, Ansible and Packer.
  • Splunk operational knowledge.
  • Strong interest or experience with containerization and automation.
