About the Role/Team
Entrupy is seeking a Data Collector based in the London, UK area, for an initial project‑based employment period of 6 months. The Data Collector will be responsible for capturing high‑quality images of popular styles using Entrupy's image‑capturing hardware and mobile application. This role requires the ability to handle different image‑capturing workflows, work collaboratively with our team to understand imaging requirements, and demonstrate a deep interest towards Apparel, Sneakers and/or Bags in a fast‑moving environment.
Reports to: Authentication Manager
Location: This role will be required to work from the partner site.
Employment type: Temporary (hourly, non‑exempt) for an initial 6‑month project; may be extended by mutual agreement.
Anticipated hours: 16‑24 hours per week.
What you’ll do:
- Capture high‑quality images of items using our existing setup and app
- Handle different image‑capturing workflows
- Work collaboratively with the team to understand imaging requirements and ensure images meet our standards
- Log and track daily scanning on Google Sheets
- Work with other team members to meet production and deadline goals
- Assist with tasks such as organizing and tracking inventory
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues as they arise
What you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of fashion items and fashion trends
- Prior retail experience in the industry
- Prior experience in imaging or photography is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to capture high‑quality images of items
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexibility to work at different locations based on data needs
