About the Bridge

The Bridge is the fastest way for Europeans to build massive companies in San Francisco from scratch. Cohorts of 40‑50 founders live, work and build companies together in a San Francisco house for eight weeks, taking companies from nothing to funded.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute theses on where you can find exceptionally talented individuals early in their careers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to these individuals, helping them unlock ambition and reach potential from advising on career decisions to supporting building companies and raising funds.
  • Sharpen judgment in identifying exceptional founders and world‑changing companies.
  • Build relationships with experts across a broad range of fields.
  • Influence key investment decisions for EF.

What This Looks Like

  • Sourcing talent in Europe – approximately eight months of the year working on finding promising individuals through online and in‑person communities across Europe.
  • Shaping talent and companies in San Francisco – approximately two to three months of the year supporting invested individuals to build founding teams and refine ideas, and helping founders raise their first round with top investors.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience with a track record of ownership and impact, aiming for a Principal role.
  • Intellectually curious, digging for first principles and self‑teaching across domains.
  • Driven, finding creative ways through obstacles and owning outcomes.
  • Network builder, establishing meaningful relationships with exceptional people, peers and seniors.
  • Discerning judge of talent, setting high standards while staying realistic about potential.
  • Tech‑impact oriented, fascinated by how technology, especially via startups, changes the world.
