We’re excited to offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s leading B2B marketing and lead generation agencies in our fast-growing team as a Sales Development Rep – Lead Generation.
This is lead generation role, as opposed to a 360 or commercial remit.
You'll work across our client base with some of the biggest tech companies in the world as well as leading award winning creative and marketing services agencies.

Work schedule
Hybrid working, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday work from our office near Old Street roundabout and then Tuesday and Friday you’ll have the option to work from home.

In short, we’re an outsourced business development and marketing department that help b2b companies to win new clients and grow their businesses. Our clients range from tech giants and disruptors including household names like Google, AWS (Amazon), Adobe and SAP as well as unicorns and award winning, best-in-class agencies like Social Chain, Imagination, Amplify, Journey Further and more.
What does an Entourage Business Development Manager do?
In the client-facing role you're the day-to-day client point contact on 4/5 accounts leading activation of the account strategy to identify opportunities for your clients to engage buyers of their services.
You'll use the marketing collateral created by the marketing lead on each account to identify, unearth and carve out commercial opportunities starting with setting up introductory meetings for your clients and then by nurturing leads until they're ready to buy services from your clients.
Having built a list of prospects that hit the client ICP brief, you'll use three main channels including social selling (LinkedIn), phone outreach and sending personalised emails to engage prospects.
You’ll attend client events which are hosted at standout venues such as Soho House, The Shard, The Gerkin, The National Portrait Gallery.
You'll research your prospects to understand their challenges and sectors broadly and map out how your client could help them overcome these challenges, you'll create and find angles and hooks to spark their interest and then qualify the opportunity for the client, you’ll then brief the client ahead of the first meeting.
What does the day to day look like?
Each day is different! Working across a wide range of clients you’ll:
- Client facing role – you'll lead the day-to-day relationship with the client and be their point contact including leading weekly status calls and providing reports on activity and results.
- Generate commercial opps through driving attendees to client webinars & events via LinkedIn, phone and email and booking introductory meetings.
- Generate new leads from cold by leveraging insight, content, events and trends to spark the conversation.
- Attend client events.
- Build targeting lists on LinkedIn Sales Navigator of people who fit the target personas that our clients want to target. This involves building advanced searches and evaluating profiles to determine whether someone fits the brief and then organising the leads into different lists and segments.
- You’ll then use these lists on LinkedIn Sales Navigator as the basis of your LinkedIn outreach where you’ll use a mix of direct messaging and automation to reach out and invite prospects to events or share reports and content.
- Support the wider Business Development team on various client accounts – helping to build and nurture new business leads and relationships.
- Schedule meetings and demos for your clients with prospects who would be interested in the clients’ products and services.
- Communicate with clients and undertake general account management responsibilities such as compiling reporting documents and ensuring your client has all the information about the leads you generate.
- Religiously update and maintain the CRM system.
- Work closely with the Strategy Director and Communications Manager to identify target opportunities and data requirements.
Requirements
- Min 1-2 years working experience in a sales/bd/bdr/sdr role
- You’ve worked in a client facing role
- You must enjoying talking/pitching on the phone
- You’re a people-person
- Min 1 year prospecting on the phone experience
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written

Targets and KPI’s
Monthly targets focused on a set amount of meetings booked and attended and/or event registration sign ups comprising of digital and in-real-life events.
Daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s around activity depending on the project with 300 calls per week as a minimum requirement + LinkedIn and email outreach too.
