We’re a fast-growing B2B marketing agency working with some of the world’s most innovative enterprise tech brands - including Adobe, Google, AWS, SAP, and Salesforce. This is a highly visible role that sits at the centre of the business, working closely with our CEO, sales, client services and delivery teams. You will take ownership of the commercial and operational process from initial client brief through to project mobilisation.
When a new opportunity comes into the business, you'll work with internal teams to define the scope, build pricing, create proposals, prepare statements of work, manage contractual documentation and ensure projects are successfully handed over into delivery. You won't be responsible for generating revenue or carrying a sales target. This is an ideal role for somebody who enjoys combining commercial thinking, project management, problem solving and operational execution.
- Commercial Scoping & Pricing
- Build project budgets, resource plans and commercial models
- Identify commercial risks and recommend improvements
- Ensure projects are scoped profitably and realistically
- Prepare proposals, estimates and commercial responses
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms
- Ensure all project documentation is completed before work commences
- Maintain strong commercial governance across the business
- Project Mobilisation & Operations
- Own the transition from sales to delivery
- Coordinate internal project setup and kick-off processes
- Support project teams with change requests and scope adjustments
- Commercial Performance
- Monitor project profitability and commercial performance across the business to guide future decisions on pricing
- Help develop scalable commercial processes and frameworks as the business continues to grow
You enjoy bringing structure to complexity and are equally comfortable building a commercial model, reviewing a contract, speaking with a client or coordinating internal teams.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years' experience in a commercial, operations, agency, consulting or project management role
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience preparing commercial proposals and scopes of work
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Resource planning and project mobilisation experience
- Familiarity with CRM, project management and financial systems
Take ownership of the majority of project scoping and pricing activities, significantly reduce the time required from senior leadership to support proposals and commercial documentation, improve consistency across pricing, SoWs and project setup processes, create a seamless handover from sales to delivery, help improve project profitability and reduce scope creep, and become a trusted commercial advisor to teams across the business.
