As a People Fresh Olive Apprentice, you will be an important part of our People team where you will gain valuable hands‑on experience in aspects of People. This apprenticeship is a three‑year journey, designed to provide you with comprehensive exposure to People functions and practical experiences.
What You'll Experience:
- Employee Communication: You will provide important People support to our employees, ensuring that the People inbox is regularly monitored. You will engage with employees, by providing clear professional responses to any queries and guide them towards appropriate resources where required.
- Recruitment Support: You will assist in evaluating job applications, coordinating interview schedules, and contributing to the selection of candidates.
- Pre-Employment Compliance: You will check that employees have the right training and certifications before they start their employment with the company.
- Induction and Onboarding: You will support new employees settle into the company by ensuring the completion of necessary paperwork and supporting the delivery of induction sessions, ensuring that our employees are fully prepared to begin their roles with the company.
- Certification Tracking: You will monitor employees' certifications and training requirements to ensure all relevant training certifications are in date. You'll also record completed training in our People database.
- Records Maintenance: You will help to maintain employee records, ensuring accurate information is stored correctly.
