My client is launching a new 3-bed children’s home in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, and are seeking an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and into operation. This is a genuine leadership opportunity – not just a management role.
They are open to candidates with experience in:
- EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties)
- LD (Learning Disabilities)
- Dual-experience managers
The final registration pathway will align with the successful candidate’s experience and Ofsted track record.

They Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has recent experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home (Deputy Managers ready to step up will be considered)
- Holds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Management for Residential Childcare
- Has strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Has a proven Ofsted track record (Good or above preferred)
- Is confident leading a home through registration
- Can recruit, lead and develop a high-performing team
- Is commercially aware and understands occupancy
