Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager with a strong technical background and a proven track record delivering large-scale residential developments? We are a well-established, family-run business and a recognised leader in delivering Fire, Security, Reception, and Data system solutions across high-rise new build and refurbishment projects throughout London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager who has worked their way up through the ranks, from hands-on Engineer through to Senior Engineer / Supervisor, and is confident managing complex, multi-unit developments.

The Role of our Project Manager:
You will take ownership of multiple fire alarm installation projects, typically across new build housing developments and high-rise residential schemes, including refurbishment projects involving multiple blocks (100+ units per block). This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager role:
- Manage multiple fire alarm installation projects from start to completion
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate with clients and consultants
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Oversee RAMS, procurement, labour planning, and subcontractor management
- Monitor project financials including P&L, variations, and forecasting
- Ensure full compliance with H&S and regulatory standards in live environments to BS5839
- Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Essential Experience & Requirements:
- Proven career progression from Fire Alarm Engineer - Senior Engineer - Supervisor / Manager
- Strong experience delivering multi-unit residential projects (not one-off builds)
- Experience working on high-rise developments and/or large-scale refurbishments
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (£1m+ values)
- Solid technical knowledge of fire alarm systems (design, install, commissioning)
- Previous responsibility of ensuring compliance and full H & S to BS5839
Qualifications:
- SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
- FIA-recognised qualifications (or equivalent)
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
Desirable:
- Experience on complex refurbishment projects (e.g. multi-block residential sites)
- Commercial awareness with strong financial/project reporting experience
