Are you an experienced Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing business working on high-profile residential and commercial projects across London and the Southeast? We are a long-standing family-run business specialising in Security, Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Data System solutions for high-rise developments, new builds and occupied residential sites. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our commissioning team. This is a field-based role offering excellent long-term stability, varied projects, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with leading security technologies and manufacturers.

What you will be doing as a Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer:
- Commission and configure Fire Alarm, Evacuation Alert and emergency voice communication and toilet alarm systems and associated solutions.
- Perform system testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with installation teams, project managers, and clients during project delivery.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support where required.
- Deliver system training and handover documentation to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
- Adhoc duties as required.
Systems & Technologies:
You will ideally have experience working with some of the following:
- Fire Alarm
- Evacuation Alert
- Emergency Voice Communication
- Toilet Alarm systems
- Integrated Life Safety Systems
Manufacturers may include: Advanced, Apollo, C-Tec, Morley.
What we are looking for to be our Commissioning Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the Life Safety Industry.
- Strong experience with leading fire alarm systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with fire alarms, life safety is essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Field-based across London and the Southeast with occasional visits to the Northolt office.
