We are a long-standing family run business who are an industry leader in providing Fire, Security, Reception and Data system solutions across high-rise new build projects and occupied residential developments in London and the Southeast.
Role Responsibilities and Duties for Commercial Quantity Surveyor:- Deliver a diverse range of Fire & Security / ELV services across high-rise new build projects and occupied residential developments.
- Experience within high-rise residential new builds and occupied housing environments.
- Lead complex projects from pre-start to final account.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and full commercial lifecycle: valuations, variations, payment applications, final accounts, notices, and contractual correspondence and compliance.
- Able to independently manage cost control, P&L reporting, cash flow forecasting, and commercial administration.
- Experience coordinating procurement and overseeing subcontractor and supply chain performance.
- A solid understanding of health & safety, CDM regulations, and project compliance requirements.
- Adhoc duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Fire & Security, Electrical, or MEP sectors.
- A solid understanding of JCT contracts.
- Previously lead complex projects from pre-start to final account.
- A solid understanding of H & S, CDM regulations and project compliance requirements.
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and familiar with project/CRM platforms.
- Immediate start on high-profile, ongoing projects across London and the South East.
- Clear scope of work and direct communication with decision-makers.
- Professional and well-structured delivery environment with access to necessary project data and documentation.
- Supportive and professional team culture, working on landmark residential projects.
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays per annum (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 after 5 years)
