Responsibilities
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of commercial vehicles
- Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure vehicles meet all legal, compliance and safety requirements
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections where required
- Attend customer sites and complete repairs efficiently and professionally
- Accurately complete repair documentation and job records
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business
- Support operational teams to maximise vehicle availability
The role offers a varied workload, working across a range of light commercial vehicles and fleet operations.
Qualifications
We're looking for individuals who have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles, LCVs or similar fleet vehicles
- A full UK manual driving licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
