We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our ARMS Business Services Division based in Aldershot.
Location: Hybrid working – 3 days onsite at Victoria Road, Aldershot, GU11 1EJ
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00
Salary: £26,000
Start Date: September / October
As part of our commitment to world-class customer service and smarter mobility solutions, we’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our dynamic Business Management team based in Aldershot. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with early industry experience who’s looking to earn while they learn and climb the career ladder.
About The Team
Our Aldershot-based ARMS division supports rental branches across the UK and is home to teams specialising in claims services, damage recovery, vehicle operations, risk management, and more. We’ve brought tech and insurance services together to create robust, forward-looking solutions for our customers and partners. With approx. 850 employees across multiple business units, we’re shaping the future of replacement and mobility solutions.

Responsibilities
- Accurately Invoice large National Accounts in excess of £10million per month.
- Responsible for ensuring payments received as per agreed credit terms for all assigned accounts
- Resolve customer queries and disputes related to invoices
- Investigating short payments, over-payments & mis-receipts and actioning a solution
- Develop and maintain relationships with account contacts
- Working closely alongside various departments and Account Managers
- Holding and participating in weekly debt calls with customers and Account Managers
- Accounts Receivable cleanup management
- Work on creating efficiencies within existing processes
- Updating processes within the training manual
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who is numbers orientated
- Excellent problem solving, communication & time management skills
- Detail orientation and strong work ethic
- Ability to meet deadlines and think independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and willingness to question current practices
- Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- PC skills, basic level of Microsoft Word and intermediate level of Excel at a minimum (Knowledge of Access a plus)
- Previous accounts receivable collection experience advantageous but not essential
